ShapeSpace is pleased to begin collaborating with the University of Edinburgh on a project looking at the use of analytics and geometric algorithms in developing an ‘As-Built’ Digital Twin. This will support reasoning about the build state and future activity planning during the manufacture of large products (such as ships).

The work is supported by ShapeSpace, the Scottish Research Partnership in Engineering (SRPe) and the National Manufacturing Institute of Scotland (NMIS).
